What's the best way to mount a bipid on the xt22ro, there's no rail just the sling moldings into the plastic. Or am I forced to get a barrel mounted bipod. Thanks in advance everyone

Hard to tell from pictures I find on google but it doesn't look like there a sling studs, just molded in round things for a sling to clip onto. If there are actual sling studs, you can get many bipods that attach to those by various means. If not, you will have to use a bag, get a barrel mounted one, or drill our own hole and install a sling stud yourself.

i know the marlin xt22mr is a different model but it has the same swivel studs. when i was looking it over at the store the guy behind the register let me try on a bipod he had open up because i had the same question. the bipod was a harris stlye and it fit perfectly.

I'm positive that my gun dosent have the swivel studs. Just holes molded in the plastic. I guess I'm gonna go with barrel mounted. Does anyone know the mm of the xt-22 barrel? Just so I make sure I get one that fits

Get one of the cheap spring loaded ones that just clips on and off and you will be good to go. Plus its cheap and can be removed easily for storage and transport.

I just wanted to log in from work and answer this, i tried a harris bipod onto the XT-22VR version with the molded in plastic sling mounts, and it mounted perfectly and stayed tight, no movement or slipping around. so yes a harris will work on your molded sling studs.

No adapters needed, i am purchasing an XT-22VR from work on friday, so when i get home i will be able to post pics of it then. but all i did was took a harris ultralight bipod, and an XT-22VR and just tried it out myself to see if it works, and happily it did and fit very well. then i saw you were asking about it and decided to post my findings to help you out. Hope this does help you out.

Quick edit, this is the bipod that i tried on the firearm.

i was happy to see it work so i would not have to drill and tap a section of picatinny rail into the forend of the rifle myself.
