BHTC - All UKD match 5/15/10 Lewistown, PA

Hi,

Putting on an all unknown distance match on May 15 in Mifflintown. Great range for shooting UKD, and we may also add a 300Y barricade stage.

Subject to change, but we will likely have two phases. First one will be LRF OK. Then, the targets will be moved. Second one will be rifle scope reticle only. Simple golf scoring with 5 rounds per target max.

There is some up angle here, about 15 degrees, especially when reaching out long. This may be uncomfortable or impossible to some while shooting prone. Bring what is required to facilitate this please.

Range has a mostly covered firing line, and targets will be all steel.

We may be able to facilitate on premises camping, and some zero checking on Friday. More on that as things continue to unfold.

This match sounds like it'd be a good time and finally something within weekend driving distance of my AO that I could attend & participate in without missing work...
Can't commit 100% just yet due to family medical circumstances, but I'm marking the calendar right now with optimism...

Good news brother. Hope you can make it!

We've put on a lot of matches before but this is the first all/mostly UKD. The range is perfect for it since there are no marks at all referencing known distances. If you dig this kind of stuff as much as we do I know it will be worth the trip.

I'm sorry guys but due to low turnout we have to postpone this match. It so happened that it fell the week after ASC, and we didn't get enough shooters registered to justify a range closure for the day.

We will have another one June or July. Please stay tuned for that.
