Hey all...I'm pretty sure this is a lame question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere so here goes...

Where do you all mount your bi-pods, and why ? I know, I know...under the rifle. On the factory stock of my Remmy 700 SPS there's two different anchor points for a bi-pod, I used the one further back for...well, I don't exactly know why.

Now that I installed my B&C A-5 Tactical stock I noticed that the anchor point for the bi-pod is extremely versatile as it can be slid about 10" towards the front or rear of the handguard.

So, my question is this...Where do you all mount your bi-pods and is there really any difference ? Does it affect accuracy ? Mobility ? Or is it just your preferance ?

Thanks !

Scott

Re: Bi-Pod Question...

Always as far forward as possible to create the most stable platform. Compare to stability of a car with long wheelbase vs. car with short wheelbase.

On the factory stock, would've mounted bipod to front stud and sling swivel to rear stud.
