Beware the long con death by 1000 paper cuts. Say they pass the ban and it somehow (lol) passes the constitutional muster.

No one is going to come and confiscate your "assault weapons". Most people won't be taking their now "illegal" AR-15's to the range anymore. Those that get caught with them will be made example of, making everyone else afraid to lose their freedom and bury them harder for when "the day comes". However, that day will not come and those of us who knew the old ways will eventually wither and die and our stuff will make their ways into the hands of confiscators willingly. Same way the supply of unregistered from the big war machine guns from Grandpa's basement never see the light of day except to be torch cut by the ATF when an heir eventually finds them.

Fight now in courts and in the ballot box.

For equality's sake, civilian law enforcement agencies should not have these weapons either. Should be easy to rile up the base (read: useful idiots) to disarm LEOs.

Bingo. In addition, everyone here should be afraid of the ammo (and magazine) bans that will inevitably come along with any AWB. The extremists aren't stupid and they are far more organized than we like to admit. So while they may not take your firearms from your hands, they will drive you underground and effectively turn your ARs and AKs into paperweights. .308s may survive the cut since it can be argued it is commonly used for hunting, but I'd bet money that they go after 5.56, 7.62x39, etc. Either outright bans or de-facto bans through made up murder taxes. As with everything else in politics these days, they'll be going for the throat.

ArmsUnlimited has colt M4 barrels, buffer springs, and m4 handguards, btw. 😁😁😁 and some monolithic uppers that look rather delicious. Way overpriced, but whatever.

That ballot box was recently shown to have a sliding scale adjuster, capable of on-the-fly adjustment via Dominions internet connection. Not working out for our side at all with the current ratio of 0.7 votes per vote.

I'm thinking that the ballot box situation needs repairing, ASAP and before we can count on having any say, in anything, whatsoever.

Threats and long monologues with sharp points have been driven to the point again and again with the same results:

Another ban. Another law.

Keep it simple.

"Come and take them."

Just don't whine if it doesn't go your way, only one of us gets to play victim here.

AGREED.... There is a better chance for reclassification as a Class 3 firearm with import restrictions (ban). Similar to what was done with the Street Sweeper shotgun. No direct step on 2A rights but at the same time legally requiring registration and tracking for sales. Also increasing the cost of ownership both in money, time and inconvenience.

The Libturds should be careful what they wish for. None of our firearms are weapons of war, but could very easily become so.

Lets take politics out of the equation for just a quick moment. Lets say there are 400,000,000 guns in America. I doubt most would part with their guns for less than (on average) of about $1,000. At that rate, the cost to "buyback" those firearms would be $400 BILLION.

That's not possible. The Feds don't have that much money for this program.

They would not need that much money. The "buybacks" that I have read about were done with $50-100 gift cards. Additionally, most of the guns turned in were junked out, non functioning firearms. The cops probably did not know that nor did they care. They just felt warm and fuzzy about the whole thing.
