they have a wild taste even more so than goose I prefer smoking or making sausage out of them to roasting. Buddy has a pair mounted right when you come down stairs to his basement and they make beautiful mounts

It was taken here in central va, it's hard to tell from the picture but this is a nice big mature bird with the yellow up near the eye. He is just dirty from laying in the blind, and boat. He has no gray at all like the juvenile birds.

Awesome. They are off limits where I grew up. I have always hated them since one took me off my jetski as a kid. What did it weight?

They are by permit only here in va(only 600 permits per year), I can't give you an exact weight, i took it directly to the taxidermist. But if I had to guess 20-25lbs
