Re: Big Piney Sportsmans Club F-Class MultiRange Shoot

Saturday night, 24September, at 6PM is the club's annual Hog Roast Supper. Club supplies the pork and the BBQ baked beans and only asks the members to bring side dishes. So Sunday we may be eating left over pulled pork sandwiches and any BBQ beans that may be left. It still is all good. Bob and I was out at the club today to originally chainsaw and split up a tree that broke in half on the trail leading up the hill to the 800 firing berm but our plans got changed. Bob forgot about MO Consevation agents conducting training at the club today so we mowed the big range today. We got about 80% done and we will finish up tommorow and get back to making firewood.
I'm looking forward to the match Sunday, thinking about shooting my .223 Remington 700 varmiter in open class instead of lite class. I did some shooting with it last month and it did well so I will see if I can make it do a repeat performance. See you at the range.

Re: Big Piney Sportsmans Club F-Class MultiRange Shoot

The shoot today was a blast. We had a light turnout due to rainy weather forcasted, but the rain let up long enough to get the Courses in.

I really enjoy getting out there. There are a good bunch of folks that show up out there as well as the ones running the shoots.

Congratulations to Sean Haggerty on his taking 1st place in the Lite Tactical Division.

The shoots put on at Big Piney Sportsmans Club are second to none. They are well run and a true bargain for the $20.00 entry fee. The Club President, Bob Roach, his brother, Andrew Roach, and the club secretary. Robert Lyons, along with the Board of Directors make this shoot possible. Thanks to all of them.
