Hello all,

I have started compiling a 308 build, my first precision rifle. Of course being a lefty has made things a touch harder.

I have settle on and have already purchased a number of the components, but I have run into a problem that I don't quite understand.

I have been told that a lefty Bighorn Arms 308 will not fit into a lefty AICS 2.0 without modifying the stock (something that I don't want to do in case I want to put a different action in the stock down the road.

Why won't it fit without modification if the exterior specs are supposed to be that of a rem700? Are there other options?

Thanks,

-John

But they can be put in an AICS and they can do it for you. I asked the same question to them not long ago and it's just a little work to the lug area to accomidate the longer action, no big deal.

Yep - just some work to accomodate the longer action where the barrel screws into the reciever. Mark knows what he's doing - don't fret it.
