Looks like they have nice snapper.

Gonna take the beef buss down to tuna town! Nice clams on that boat.

Cu-dos to the great catch and beautiful ladies!!

Re: Bikini's and big fish

Great fish, Beautiful ladies, and on the water, hard to top that. Your pics have me itchin' to get back in the water, but the visibility has been bad here lately, and we got some rain, so the shore diving is no good. Wish I had a boat like yours. How far out are you?

Re: Bikini's and big fish

Sean Connery would say- 'Clams I'd like to stuff' for 400 Alex'
Makes me want to go fishing......... alas

Re: Bikini's and big fish

That brunette must be strong to boot. She doesn't appear to be straining at all while holding the entire weight of a fish that weighs half as much as her.

We usually spear in 85-240 feet of water. 30-60 miles offshore. We have to go way out to get any visibility.

Re: Bikini's and big fish

240 feet ?!?!?!?!?!? Then you must be burning up an awful lot of tri-mix and spending countless hours on deco.

Yes sir, Lots of deco but that's where the big ones live.

Re: Bikini's and big fish

Your fishery is a little different from NC. We catch some stud gags from about 10-24 miles out in 60-80' The depths you are sprearing is where our red and scamp grouper fishery picks up and deeper because our prime fishing for reds is 90-140'

Are you up around frying pan tower?

There are plenty of grouper to 20 pounds in shallow water from 50' and deeper here but the big 50 pound+ charcoal bellies are always deep, at least 140' Decent size scamps start around 110' here.

Re: Bikini's and big fish

I am N of FPT. Run out of New River....farthest south I get is about WR-2. If SAMF keeps up the BS regulations there will be no grouper fishing. I am sure you have noticed there are no shortage of fish just like all of us on the water much know.....makes me wonder where they get their junk science regs. 50+ pounds are some hogs. The biggest girls we catch are generally topping out upper 30's to low 40's. There are a ton of fish in Onslow Bay that are 20-28" or so in length so I know the numbers are doing much better than advertised. Ya'll are no doubt stabbing some monsters. Being a hook and line guy I would love to see the bottom I am anchoring and fishing....would be real educational. Good to meet another grouper digger......my youngest has the fever as well! My crews leave a lot to be desired compared to yours....here are some random fish and the better looking of us which isn't saying a lot.

Re: Bikini's and big fish

The Current regulations are pure enviro nazi crap. Every dive spot is swarming with red snapper which are closed indefinitely.

Heres some "endangered" red snapper I filmed after the 2011 closure.

Re: Bikini's and big fish

My grandmother lives in Charleston and I love it down there. Sadly I don't have a boat big enough to get that far out but I've taken trips out there and its a blast. Last time I was out I bought a barracuda, two greater amberjacks, and a king mackerel that a barracuda decided it wanted half of when he saw it on the line. Those king mackerels make really good tasting steaks.
