There are other thing that makes it very unlikely, albeit not impossible, that this virus was intentionally man made. Every reasonably advanced nation on this planet has the technology to 'reprogram' a virus. This is used in
gene therapy as we speak. I was GM of a company that made machines to produce RNA and DNA strands of your choice. Read the sequence from a RNA sample (in vitro) to a computer (in silico) or download it from a genetic sequence database, modify a few bits (base pairs), and write the code back out into an RNA sample(in vitro). Combining, amplifying, and Inserting these RNA pieces into a virus is standard lab practice. Let that virus infect a cell and you will get viruses according to the new code.
There is an unwritten understanding in the community of molecular biologists and everyone who funds this stuff that if you fuck around with something like this as a weapon, you run the same risk as using nukes as weapons. This WILL get out of hand and there will be nothing left to 'occupy'. Either the virus mutates and kills your folks as well or the other side will nuke or germ you once they figure out your dirty deeds.
China is after world domination, not world annihilation. They are also very patient people and were nicely on their way to put us in the chains of their cheap shit and associated debt. This economic fallout from Covid-19 will cost them dearly and torpedo a lot of their power gains.
According to what I have read about the virus, some archived job postings from the Wuhan biolab, and later disappearance of researchers both from the physical as well as the virtual world, I believe (!) that Covid-19 came out of their lab in Wuhan as the result of a big f-up while studying zoonotic viruses that jump from animals to humans. I cannot conclusively prove or disprove this. It is just the most likely explanation of the available evidence. It is undisputed that the CCP tried to suppress knowledge and warnings about this outbreak and should be held responsible for that.
