    Between the Ozark and Ouachitas
I have a older brother gift me some weapons a few weeks ago. Nothing special , but totally unexpected.

I have a pair of 10x42 Swarovskis’ that he/we used at a college football game. Blew him and his failing eyesight away 🙈

I want to get him some good quality (for the price ) binoculars
Anyone have any in the $500 or a tad over favorite ?
Vortex ....Leupold ....Nikon ?? Not being cheap per se , and I know the “you get what you pay for” regarding optics.

They would be used for sporting events or birding.
    Thanks in advance!

Happy Veterans Day to all my brothers 🇺🇸

    Thanks and 10-4 !

I have seen you on SH 👍 and I will be getting ahold you soon.
Out of pocket now .....and driving on I-40 😳

    Appreciate the reply !

Leupold BX-4 pro guide or BX-5 Santiam. Look in the PX for them used. Costs $20 to buy or sell in there. Either are very good with the BX-5 being great. Not Swaro EL but really clear, edge to edge and bright in lower light. Look at reviews and you’ll see. Completely waterproof also.

Look at the mid-priced Kowa binos…

I have a pair, and when we all share or get on whatever glass is closest at matches, I don’t notice much, if any, difference between the Kowa’s or $$$ Swaro’s. The difference is there, but it’s less than one might think, and no one ever cares.

Hooked up with Doug at Camaraland , going with some Kowa BD ll with XD lens.
Easy to purchase , awesome price ! Know my brother will enjoy them.
    Thanks Doug 👍

Definitely hit up gr8fuldoug. That will help you stretch the dollar a bit more.

I just got a pair of Leupold BX4 Pro guides. After using them side by side to the Viper HDs, outdoors, my eyeballs like the leupold just a tad more.

I will say I don't care for the amount of distortion on the edges of the leupolds. But it seems like there are going compromises in that price range.
