Have been looking for a quality pair of bino's with a reticle. Have been looking at the Leopold and Steiner. My budget is about $800.

I need something to range out to 4k against a large target.

Anyone got any recommendations.

Re: Bino's w/ reticle

Just for reference, this amusement park tower is around 42 feet (12.8m) wide. This was shot through a Leupold 12-40x spotter with the TMR reticle. Distance to the tower was 3.02 miles, or 4.86 km. The same reticle is used in the Leupold binos, just at 10x power the actual image magnification will be much smaller. First pic should be at the low end of 12x, second pic is at 40x.

I've also got a pair of the Steiner 10x50 Military R binos with the SUMR reticle which I think is much nicer than the Leupold TMR, but due to my unbalanced eyesight, the manual focus of the Leupold binos suits my eyes better so that's what I'm keeping. I'll be posting these NIB Steiners soon in case you're interested.
