I saw the extender from Accuracy Solutions, and while it looks to be top of the line, the $500 - $600 price tag is a bit off putting. Is anyone aware of any other, more simple, solutions that would be a bit more easy on the wallet? Failing that, a source for a carbon fiber rod to make my own?

Riflesticks makes some for atlas style and Harris. They work very well.

    Hi,

Another problem is adjusting the bipod legs, just watch some videos of guys trying to adjust the bipod legs. Some are almost comical.

    Sincerely,
    Theis
Also a non issue. If you don't have a use for it, that fine, but there is absolutely a niche for it.

Amazon carries carbon fiber tube that you could use for making one.

While I understand people don't like it due to looks I don't get all the flak unless you have no understanding of the principle behind it.
