Bipod for new precision rifle?

I'm looking for a new bipod for the custom 6.5 Creedmoor I just had built. I'm torn between a Atlas PSR (BT46-LW17) and a Rugged Ridge Extreme Pod. I can get the Rugged Ridge Extreme Pod through an industry discount for around $225, which makes it really attractive; but I'm a little concerned that I can't swap out feet on it. Is there a big difference between rubber feet and spikes? I mean, enough to justify spending an extra $150 ($100 extra for bipod + $50 for spike feet) extra on the Atlas over the Extreme Pod?

I really like the idea that I can get the long carbon leg extensions, for the Extreme Pod, for seated shooting. That's a big advantage since part of my job is calling and shooting predators and I do a lot of predator hunting contests. But I can always use a BogPod or my tripod and hog saddle instead. So this isn't a deal breaker. What I really want this bipod for is precision LR shooting off of a bench and for LR shooting prone.

I sure could use some advice from some of y'all with lots of experience shooting prone & bench with a bipod.

Look at rifle sticks for the atlas. They work great for seating shooting and gives you so much more versatility. I use them all the time.

After going through a few more expensive bipods, which are nice, my go to is a Harris with Hawk Hill feet, a pod-loc, and some para cord between the legs for quick deployment. There are some specialty bipods that are certainly better for a specific use, such as F-Class, but for all around use and durability I love a Harris

I own both Harris and Atlas. I have never felt the Atlas was worth the money.

If you have a NATO picitany rail mounted to your rifle, I really like the Larue QD Harris bi pod set up.

I too have gone back to the Harris. I also change a few things though. I use the Hawk Hill claws and an adapter so I can use an ADM lever mount on a rail.

I like the harris hbrms although ive learned to red loctite the leg through nut onto the bolt as ive had them come apart on me twice in the field during a string of fire!
