I'll take a look at the other solution as well altho at the moment that's the only gun I'd use a bipod with.
Thanks again!

Bryan,
Forget adapters. A better, much more eloquent bipod mounting solution on your B & C stock would be the combination of the
ACCU-SHOT BT28 AFAR Kit and a
Larue LT706 QD Mount + Harris BRM-S (Harris 6-9" Notched / Swivel Bipod). If you have an existing Harris bipod, you can also buy the LT706 QD Mount from Larue for $79.00 and convert a standard bipod stud mount Harris with the "saddle"/platform into a QD bipod. I bought a complete "Combo" from Larue, then later I bought the LT706 Mount ONLY to convert existing Harris bipods. An LT706 + Harris has advantages over a standard bipod that attaches with a bipod stud and has a "saddle"/platform that bears against the bottom of the fore arm:
(a) The "saddle"/platform on a Harris is designed for use with narrow, rounded fore ams. The wide, flat fore arm of the B& C Medalist stock, like the McMillan A5 stock, doesn't allow the "saddle"/platform to properly cradle the forearm or allow the bipod's two pincers to snug up as tightly as on stocks' with narrower fore ends. The result is that the bipod stud that is threaded into the Harris bipod adapter that rides in an Anschutz or Freeland Rail can sometimes loosen-up, allowing the Harris's "saddle"/platform to rotate under recoil. The BT28's short picatinny rail provides a more more solid mounting point than the bipod stud and does not allow the Harris to rotate under recoil.
(b) The elimination of the bipod stud and the "saddle"/platform reduces stacking of unnecessary parts and lowers the overall height (and center of gravity) slightly, contributing to stability.
My brother has the B & C Medallist Varmint Tactical Adjustable stock, and after seeing my BT28 AFAR and LT706 + BRM-S Combo he wanted the same setup, so I test fit the BT28 in the rail of his B & C and found that it fits and works perfectly. You can even use the SHORT pair of screws that ACCU-SHOT provides (ACCU-SHOT provides a SHORT pair and a LONG pair of screws). The SHORT pair is actually the perfect length for a B & C with Rail, unlike with the Anschutz Rail on a McMillan, which is a thicker, more heavy-duty rail that doesn't work well with the SHORT screws.
I don't have any photos of the BT28 AFAR in my brother's B & C. but below are two photos of a BT28 AFAR as it comes from ACCU-SHOT, as well as three more after being coated in Birdsong "Tac Ops OD" Green-T & Black-T. The last two photos show a Birdsong-coated BT28 AFAR in the Anschutz Rail of my Tac Ops X-Ray 51 with a Larue LT706 Harris BRM-S Combo + Gen 2 KMW Podloc mounted on the BT28. The BT28 works so well that I bought 5 of the LT706 Mounts to convert more Harris bipods.
BTW, I highly recommend that you buy the KMW PodLoc for use on the Swivel-type ("S" Series) Harris', as the huge, clunky Larue Pivot Tension Knob is so big theres' no clearance to grasp and turn the Pivot Tension Knob.
