I have the Harris bipods and want to replace them. But with which one. There are so many to choose from. Atlas, Versa-Pod, GG&G and the list goes on. So my question is for the money and time which one should work the best? I am putting it on a .308 rifle with a McRee stock and the other rifle is a Fn A3G. Mostly prone with other positions as in the bench. I also dont want to break the bank with just one bipod eather. So any help will be taken to heart on my choice.

What I don't like about the Harris is the springs and the way it attaches. Mine seems to work loose. I want a better more rugged bipod for my two 308s.

The Harris works fine on the McRee, but if I had to choose I would pick the Atlas. This is an issued rifle so the Harris is what we are given.

I bought a Bobro three years ago and love it. It comes with its own picatinny attachment and is very solid. I plan on buying another one day, just not right away. Spent $4200. on scopes in the last few months, buy once cry once. OUCH!
