I will take some better photo's tonight once i get home and have a camera.

By far the most attention to detail i have seen from a finisher.

from the looks of it, every single part, even down to the tiny pin or screw has been coated. including the tiny screw that hold the side bolt release in place.

it was a long wait but seems to be worth it.

Re: Birdsong FDE

Mailed it in sometime in April i think. I believe it depends on what color you pick and if they do a batch i dont think they do alot of the fde.

she is ready for WV

I have been to his shop-- Impressive. You won't deal with a nicer guy. Whatever the wait is, its worth it.
Black/Green T is a little softer than Cerakote, but its a helluva lot slicker.

Re: Birdsong FDE

thanks guys

I pretty much sent in everything barreled action, 2 mags, base rings, aci mount, atlas rail, and all the stock hardware and screws and my 308 barrel

it came out well

i have owned rifles coated in gunkote and cerakote and i do believe this is the nicest finish that i have laid my hands on. they even went trough and coated the trigger and safety lever

todd over at manners did a great job on the stock i am happy how the whole rifle came together

my next rifle will be coated in the black-t finish
