Guys, I'm looking for a good guide for a Bison hunt. Anyone know one? I'm looking for a fair chase hunt, ie not schwaching one in a yard. Please let me know if you know a good guide.

what area are you looking for ? Wyoming has some hunts available like you are after. free range (fenced of course) but, not a corral.

Matt Gould is a great guy that we have been going out and shooting PDogs for the last four years. Give him a buzz.

Not all are that easy to hunt. Went last year by hermosa SD and it took forever to get on the buffalo. Those things can flat ass dissapear in that country.

I got mine from Elk Creek Outfitting.com, Bret Fitchett. These are tough animals, so don't kid your selves. I was going to bring my 308, but swapped at the last minute for my .375 Akley Improved, and glad I did.
I got the skull bleached, and the hide done, well worth it!

Filmed a hunt here http://kencookoutdoors.com/ a couple of months ago with some guys from the NRA and Smith & Wesson. Pretty good set up.

I have watched a lot die with a bow and arrow to. Hit them right and they die pretty easy
