So I am getting ready to go pick up my LRS2 in 6.5x55 sometime next week, and have started ordering bits and pieces for it in hopes to have everything ready for the day I receive the rifle. Currently I have a 20moa Picatinny rail saddle and Steiner 3-12x56mm scope on hand. I have put off the rings for last because if I can't get a solid answer on height, I will be just a little more patient and wait until the rifle is in my hands and can measure myself. Hopefully I can get out to the range the day I pick the rifle up though.
I am pretty set on trying out a set of ARC M10 34mm rings, but just do not know what the lowest I can get away with is. Anyone have any advice?
