Anyone have the specs on a receiver blueprinting jig? I'm about to order some 6061 aluminum to build one of these but I'm unsure what size OD and ID or OAL that I need to end up with.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Blueprinting Jig

I think most are pretty much "custom" in that people make them to their own specs. Measure the OD of the biggest action you plan to use it on, add 1/4-1/2" to make adjustments and that will be the ID of the inside of your jig. Decide what wall thickness you want so that it's rigid and gives a good bite to the adjustment screws and that will give you your OD. You could also just buy a peice of solid round stock and bore it out to what you want. Search 300sniper and wmroscoe, I seem to remember them posting some nice ones a long time ago.
