Bobro scope mount choices help.

For a couple reasons I'd like to get a bobro QD scope mount to put on a DPMS REPR. I'm using a leupold Mk4 50mm scope. Question is, having gone through all this with solid/non-moveable rings, I got the height question answered, question now is standard, or extended mount?

I have a set of Troy BUIS that are going on the gun and believe I'll get adequate clearance for the BUIS as well as eye relief, BUT what's the deal with the extended mount?

I had the same questions about using one on my Noveske N6 (7.62) and Andy Bobro said the "slightly extended" would be best and I agree... scope is a PST 3.5-10x44. Might be different on a smaller 5.56 receiver though. See pic on this post.

I sent the same question to Andrew, he said buy the extended model, it raises the scope up about 1.7" to clear the BUIS I have planted on the gun. Found one for a good price, I think, should be here in a day or two so I can marry up the scope/gun/mount. Thanks for the response.

got the mount today; tight fit, EXACTLY the right height/length for what I needed.
