Boeing down in India

Plenty of eminent domain shit in the U.S. So if the gov wants your shit you are not protected in the U.S.

We’re only free to the extent that they allow us to think so, as long as it’s inconsequential noise to them.

Inbred, toothless, poor old man yelling at the top of his voice on top of some hill in Mississippi flashing his finger to some satellite in the sky, yelling “I hate America?” Sure, he’s “free.” But nobody really cares about his “freedom.”

The moment we make a dent, a tangible difference in opposing something that matters - their cash flow, or foreign policy, for instance…

…you get your bank accounts frozen, passport seized, and oh so many things that you cherished for being so proudly, staunchly American become meaningless.

I’m certain there are - but during my last major jaunt in the area (seven major cities excluding Beijing, and this was years ago) - such places were nonexistent.

They spend a lot on the upkeep of their infrastructure - it’s a breeze getting things done there. Other Asian countires, good luck… But from what I’ve told, the others have been making huge strides in catching up on their deficiencies.

I’m not exaggerating in saying that what you see in the “propaganda videos” about their modernized cities on YouTube are REAL.

Perhaps in the more rural areas.

EDIT:

Though many like to dismiss these guys as “shills,” the person narrating here could’ve been me.

I guess I’m just lucky in that my work has taken me all over Asia during its times of change - for the most part, we Americans really have no idea of what’s going on around tne world and tend to believe whatever our local news outlets tell us.

Wrong thread. Keep your glowie provocateur shit in the angst ghetto please.

Suicide, as I posted above (post #255) is now the probable cause.

It's almost impossible for a modern pass jet to crash on takeoff. Only way is for both engines to fail at that critical moment (non recoverable altitude, both turbines out simultaneously), or for pilots to cut the fuel flow. The odds for both are astronomical.

but to take all those people with him???????
Excellent point! That said, it has happened before so, not the first time, different religious beliefs maybe. As I read it, the Captain cut the fuel off. Not known for sure now until they release the full transcripts.

The link below from Wikipedia is pretty damming which states:

"The flight was commanded by Captain (PIC) Summeet Sabharwal, 56, who had logged approximately 15,600 flight hours, including nearly 8,600 hours on the Boeing 787." That is a LOT of hours in the air, making him a very that experienced Captain, and on 787a as well.

With those credentials, and an extremely experienced Captain and on this aircraft type, It seems impossible that a person with such experience would shut down the fuel just after takeoff by mistake. The aircraft was down 32 seconds after takeoff, right at the perfect time for the aircraft to be unrecoverable by automatically using engine "relights", which the 787 does.

It was also the first ever 787 lost, ever. 242 people died which by any metric it would be a major mass killing.

we elected trump, and that is getting their shit packed.
i'm not saying we're getting everything we want, but it's going in the right direction in several categories.
