I'm looking to add an adjustable butt plate to my Winchester M70 (308).

I have been looking at the TUBB 4 way adjustable and was wondering IF its for actual wood BOLT ACTION stocks or an AR setup..

Here is the link: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/839955/tubb-4-way-adjustable-buttplate

If ANYONE has some pics of an adjustable butt plate they have installed that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Bolt Action - Ajustable Butt Plate - Addition ?

I guess... I kinda answered my own question..

For those interested:

I called TUBB.. and they were REALLY cool on the phone. This system DOES work with regular bolt action rifle stocks. Its a pretty quick and easy install AND can also order a plate that adapts to AR15 (A2) buttstocks to make it interchangeable..

Hope this helps someone out there.

Once my rifle is back I will post up some pics of the completed rifle and additions.

This is going to be my Palma....F/TR class rifle...

hei matt

i installed one on a bell and carlosn stock
first i sawed off the stock a bit
then i drilled additional holes through the tubb plate that attaches at the stock.
i drilled a few corresponding holes in the stock
i screwd it on and additionally epoxied it with devcon in the screw holes and on the mating surfaces
after it was dry i sanded the oversized alu plate to fit the stock and then duracoated it
