I will soon (my available money willing) start to build a sniper rifle. It will be a remingtion 700 bolt action .308. I am definately going to be putting a good folding stock onto the rifle. I know of 3 companys who make good folding stock chasis (Accuracy International, Ashbury International, Tac-Mod). I have shot a bolt action rifle with the Accuracy International folding stock, and I have heard nothing but good things about the other 2 companys' stocks. My question is, does anyone have any first hand knowledge of these or any other suggestions for a folding stock chasis?

Re: bolt action folding stock

I have shot a buddies AI 2.0 and it was a nice feeling stock. I am use to the stock HS Precision and the McMillan A5 so it took a little getting use to. The real nice thing about this stock is that it is real easy to adjust the LOP and the height of the cheek piece. If I were to build another one, I would have no problems using a 2.0.

Now that you got me thinking, I may have to start planning a future build...
