Old thread, but anyway...

Don't you guys know anything, you gotta use the C clamp! OAF bro.

Not directed at the poster above who asked a legit question, just anyone who would put a foregrip on a bolt gun thinking it was a really swell idea.

C clamp. That's it. I don't know why I couldn't think of the proper term. Old age...

First of all, it's on a rail and can be removed. Second, it makes a great barricade stop if shooting off a wall, etc. I use a fore-grip on my SPR mainly to jam up against any support (also known as cover and/or concealment) I can find.

Here is a commercial barricade stop. Small and unobtrusive, but it also only works on flat surfaces. Not so great for rock walls, tree limbs, vehicle bodies, etc.

I'm probably the only person in this thread that actually needs a foregrip on a rifle.
I cannot turn my hands palms up, it's a birth defect with my elbows.

Was hoping to actually find some useful information on rifles that this is an option...like this one:

Rock River Arms - Rock Bolt Gun RBG-1S

I think there are quite a few options today, complete rifles and build your own, that could fit your needs. If you got one that had a rail on the bottom of the fore grip you could mount what ever would work for you. Here are some chassis that you could put on many different rifles.
