Gunsmithing Bolt Coating on Bare Metal

Recently had a bolt fluted and didn’t get it coated at the time. After having it for a bit I want to either get it cerakoted or use some type of cold bluing in a black color just for asthetics.

Anyone have experience Blue Wonder or similar kit? Other things you would recommend?

this is in my interest.

my bolt is also fluted, but the real problem is i did a bolt knob conversion, ( with an angle grinder) and while it works perfectly i am too embarrest to send my bolt out without the bolt knob

so now i want to coat it myself... ( alternative is to cut the threads of and redo the boltknob conversion )
