Gunsmithing Bolt face for .22-250 the same as .308?

I've a chance to get a good deal on a Remington 700 in 22-250.

I'd probably shoot it a little to see what it will do then end up sending it off to GAP for a build into a .308 gun. Do 22-250 and .308 share the same bolt face dimensions?

yep they do.

thats what i did, bought a sps-v in .22-250 that i got for a good price, used it for a donor action.

although i wish stock remington .22-250s would come with a faster twist, id love to try one out shootin 77 smks or 80 gr a-max's
