Gunsmithing Bolt for Remington 721 ?

Just picked up a remington 721 for real cheap, only problem is that it doesnt have a bolt. Anyone know where to get one? Will a 700 bolt fit in a 721?

I've tried a 700 bolt in a 721. It fit fine and there didn't seem to be any issues. You could always just get a replacement from PTG, but it will be expensive.

I did the same thing a couple months ago.

I put a want ad for a 700 bolt in the classifieds here.

Got one for $65 shipped.
