There is one here that just bolts/clamps on. Forgot the name.
It is not the same as one that is installed and screws securely on.
If you "DIY" a Badger install, there's a few dif ways you can turn your existing factory knob into a 5/16x24 tenon. Depends on what tools you have.
Haven't seen too many DIY jobs come out nice. Just being honest.
If you don't like the outcome, our method of install can completely clean it up.
Post pics when finished.

Here's a little advise worth a ton of headache relief . Let Keith professionally install one. Something's really are worth every penny you pay for them. Bolt knob installs are one of those. There is a big enough difference between DIY kits, and gunsmith installed knobs. If you want a big smile on your face everytime you look at your rifle, then do it right. Otherwise you'll end up saying "not bad" which really means crap if your DIY doesn't go as planned or advertised. Best of luck either way.

Save yourself the headache and let Keith put one on for you. Great price and wormanship and quick turnaround. You won't be disappointed.

I agree, Keith put a knob on my R700 and it looks great ! Very fast service and professionally done. Leave this stuff to the pro's.

Sounds like DREMEL time! Well you'd probably then have to have a new bolt handle put on, which would cost you more! Now you have bought a bolt knob setup, tried it yourself, screwed it up, and now have to send it in to have it fixed or completely replaced! Save some money and send to Keith or one of the other hide sponsors that can do it right for you the first time!

Thanks for the info sounds like Keith is the the man. I will have to send it to him. I think I will wait and send him my stock and mag. system as will when I get them. Have the whole package done

Yeah, I went back and forth on the DIY route, finally went and dropped it off at APA to get a bunch of work done. Was a good decision.

Keith has mine in the shop now along with my rifle for other mods. This will be my first experience with PCR but from everything I have seen and heard, both Keith and Brad do great work. I can't wait to see the results

PCR is a good place to send it to. They re bedded my AICS, fast turn around. couldn't be happier.
