are you asking about a bolt handle or a knob? If you add more information to what you are asking you will get better repsonses. Either way, this question is all about personal preference. You will get a barrage of answers based on what feels good to other people.

its not so much bullies man as its how hard is it to search? you yourself could type in bolt knob or bolt handle and get 100 pages in yahoo or google. so could te op. had he searched this site at all he could have found one of the what? three guys that will custom make you one and install it? there is a thread in three areas about AZPrecision alone i think. i feel we are here to help, but why should we type "bolt knob" in the search here and look for the stuff for him when he can use the search?

just saying, learn to search newbs, cuts down on the flames. im glad to help but when i have to type in bolt knob to find AZP's ad to copy and paste for him to click, he can type in "bolt knob" just like i did and find all the guys just as easy

i see what your saying there too. i think it scares people away, detracts from the site and so on. but man come on, when someone posts "can you tell me about counter-sniper scopes?" dont tell me you dont want to say something, lol. you may hold it back, some dont, but we ALL want to say "USE THE SEARCH NEWB!!" lol as there are entire threads devoted to the issue, just as there are with this. but we are all new once so i kinda just post some helpful info and chide a little at the same time.

It may be out of line to slam a newbie when it comes to a "search" however when it it blatantly obvious that ZERO effort has been made, ignoring it just isn't enough. The other day a guy asked about a particular scope and not 6 threads down was a write up by Lowlight about the same scope. Helen Keller could have found that thread. The OP would have saved themselves the trouble if they had taken the exact same effort they put in writing the question to looking for an answer.

I get what you guys are saying, and I'll be the first to say that, YES THEIR IS A SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION, but come on to slam someone to the extreme that the OP got slammed here because he spoke to soon. Let's remember that everyone here has something to contribute whether you've been here for 10 days or 10 years. Our imaginary rank here can be based off of how many times you can say "Cool gun" and "Can't wait to see the range report". This make believe rank structure is in no way based off of past experience, and we could be turning someone away with a lot of real experience to offer.

I was asking what kind of rifle because if it were a savage he would also have the option of buying a pretty nice bolt handle from Sharpshooter supply or midway usa and installing it himself in a matter of seconds.
