It's a piece of ugly plastic that goes over the factory rem bolt knob. If you don't want your knob threaded it's another option over factory. Personally I would just get my handle threaded. They work, just fugly.

They are indeed very big and ugly. Spend a little more and have it threaded and done right.

I just got mine today. As long as you embrace your inner utilitarian, it works perfect with zero movement. Im sure ill send my bolt out one day, but iv been shooting so much lately and dont want to be without it right now. Its quick, cheap, and well worth the money if you ask me.
