This is a tale of three bolts, all enhanced, all with special anti-friction coatings. Two have what I would call a proper, snug fit, insert fine, rotate, etc...what I've always thought was a normal fit. The third will fall out of the carrier on its own (assuming no cam pin in place) if I turn the carrier vertical with the bolt end facing down. This bolt has enhanced piston rings for less drag or stiction but is otherwise designed to work with mil-spec carriers. It's a mil-spec carrier except for the material which is titanium and also coated.

Normal? Ok to use?

Is it a JP bolt? JP states their bolts will not pass the traditional drop test by design.
