Nothing wrong with that. I dont believe score should determine a trophy but its interesting to see the scores be it gross or net. Once again congrats.
P.S. your title implied that it would make B&C. Thats why I asked about the score. If you dont like net scores maybe "Giant Buck down " would be a better title than. "Booner Time". Just a thought.

I agree... the stipulations of scoring methods are what they are, but how words like "deductions" and "trash" can be used regarding a buck like yours is beyond me. Congratulations.
I was not trying to take anything away from a beautiful animal. Few people will ever get a chance at a buck like that. You closed the deal. Anyone would be proud to take that buck. Good job.
Boone and Crockett, and Pope and Young have there place. But I think nets are for fishing! If they grow them, they should be scored. I have an elk that gross scored 349 7/8 and net scored 310 5/8. But I always give the gross score. But that's just me. Nice buck regardless of score.
all im going to say is that i have a buddy that has a large chunk of property. and this is the result of years of management. theres a main frame 14pt there thats bigger than this one. so not too many details on the local

Heck, it is Delaware, it can't be too far from you.
