I'm putting together components to build a long-action based 7WSM using a Stiller Tac 300. I want to feed from a drop magazine.

Who makes a good quality bottom metal and magazine to use? I know Badger and AI 300 Win Mag magazines will work, and have them on my Surgeon SA rifles. I'm just wondering about other manufacturers in that I might not have heard about. I would prefer not to go with a totally proprietary system like Seekins, but am open to listening to what the good systems are.

It doesn't sound what you are looking for but I am going to install the new HS Precision DBM on my TAC 30 rifle when I get home. I was going to go with the old system, but HS convinced me to wait. I should know more in a couple weeks. I looked hard at both Seekins, and Surgeon, I don't think you would go wrong with either. I have a HS DBM on another rifle, so that influenced my decision. The magazines are not interchangable but the location of the magazine release is. The HS DBM is a "drop in" install, which is nice as well. I don't know if they are going to come out with a high capacity magazine for long actions. They make a 7 round for their 338 Lapua's, but I think the long action will be limited to 3-5 rounds.
