Gunsmithing bottom metal installation question

I am looking at PTG, or CDI bottom metal and I am wondering about installation. The rifles I am thingking of putting the bottom metal on are all pillar beaded with BDL floor plates. Will I need to have my smith rebed the stock and bottom metal?

The bottom metal wont match, so it will need to be inletted and possibly re-bedded, unless the new floor plate is thicker and when inletting he will machine some of the pillars shorter. If thats the case I would just bed the floor plate front and rear.
