Looking for some bottom metal. Badger v. CDI, pros and cons of the two. Can anyone justify the cost of the Badger over the CDI $100+. Going into a Mcmillian A5 for Rem700.

Just got this one today, Replaced factory bottom metal. Real S/S from Custom shop, looks pretty in my 338Edge.

The stock inlets are not the same. Badger is being sold with a mag, I think the CDI the mag is separate. They both work it just comes down to what looks best to the individual.

Have you looked at the HS Precision ones? They get good reviews at Midway USA. I know they are meant specifically for the HS stock, but it will go into your Mc stock too. $300, includes a 10 round mag, and I really like the look of em.

I used a Williams and had greta luck. For the money it's tough to beat along side the CDI. The Badger another step up though.
