Bowling Pins - Going Rate?

Re: Bowling Pins - Going Rate?

I have 2 bowling alleys near me that always donate the pins for the Range that I run. Don't know that that really helps at all, but if they know what your using them for they may not even charge you...

Even if they were to charge me I would be happy to pay. Pins are great for training Etc.

Re: Bowling Pins - Going Rate?

They usually run about $2-4 here in california. They last a long time when shooting with pistol caliber or .22 but pretty much blow up when shot with rifle calibers.

Re: Bowling Pins - Going Rate?

I paid $1 each here and it seems like the bowling alley is glad to get rid of them. I have a few dozen pins left but don't shoot them much now that I have acummumulated a decent collection of steel targets.

Re: Bowling Pins - Going Rate?

After reading this yesterday, I emailed a few of the bowling alleys around here and asked what they did with the old ones when they replaced them because I wanted some for targets. No responses yet...
