So the guy is stopping someone about to go on a shooting rampage and gets his livelihood taken away for the trouble?
Seems like maybe we should be calling up Academy and demanding to know if they want to cause mass killings?

Somebody should setup a fund raiser for him, I'd toss in a little bit & I'm sure a lot of people would as well, hopefully enough to tide him over.

Article says he has been offered several other jobs and has requested Academy reconsider.

He should try and corner Academy on a technicality.....their policy is to not physically touch a "customer", well the guy that was tackled was NOT a customer; he was a thief....BIG Difference!!!

Good ole corporate double edged sword, yeah he violated corporate policy.... He did what was morally right by stopping someone that was intending to harm others. Academy corporate did what they had in writing as they didn't want to show that they break policy, especially if that shit bag turned around and sued. Shitty situation.

Perhaps Academy would like it shoved up their vile corporate backsides that they would be held liable if someone grabbed a gun from their store and they did nothing to stop it & that gun was used to kill people.

Corporate suits have totally ruined this country, we need to make sure to add them to the list of people up against the wall, maybe 3rd or 4th group.
