I want a brake attached can for multiple rifles so I'm looking at the Thunder Beast 338BA or a Surefire 30 cal. I don't have a 338 and don't really plan to but the TBAC and Surefire is about the same price so why not get the bigger one. I'm mainly curious about do they stay tight and accuracy. Also if there's another brand I haven't looked at that might be good let me know. Thanks

Re: Brake Attached Can

Hi,

The 30BA/338BA is as accurate and repeatable as the direct thread attach counterparts (30P-1/338P-1). The 30BA/338BA actually stay tighter on the mount due to the conical shoulder we use vs. the 90-degree shoulder on muzzle threads.

If you won't shoot anything bigger than .300 Win Mag, I'd really recommend our 30BA over the 338BA. It's 10 oz lighter, shorter, smaller diameter, and quite a bit cheaper.

hope this helps
