Ok, I've been shooting the 16" .308 version and really liking it. The ugly is the brake, although extremely effective, it's brutal, I mean plugs and 30db reduction muffs. I get it, but for what I want this rifle for, I would like to lessen the pressure to where it's at least plug enjoyable or single shot in the woods ok hunting.
I was looking at the BCM compensator or the Ruger and Smith Enterprises brakes. Any other suggestions or ones that aren't "brutal" and can be removed without tools and go with a protector?

No cans in the future, so, wrong answer:rolleyes:
