1965 aluminum bodied 427 Corba replica, build it yourself, simple carb., no power steering, no paint, no traction control, no windows, manual transmission, no top, no stereo, way too loud, no heater or air conditioning, bugs in your teeth, everyone hears you and looks, change you own oil, plugs, etc. Tesla for everything else. Fun per mile priceless. What ever happened to wrenching your own ride and KISS?

Ft walton fla caddy dealer finally got the 25 ct4v blackwing in, 70 K msrp i was waiting to make an offer , they added " lookee what we got " 10 grand now 80 K 3 weeks wasted waiting , ford said 6 months on an ordered 26 darkhorse [more like 11 months] , small chevy dealer about 40 miles away has no corvette allocations ever ......gonna expand another 100 mile search radius ....this sucks
At this stage [date] it looks like I would have to be unbelieveablely lucky to find a 25 that fits my wants [any car] sitting on a lot , seems it might make more sense to order but that looks like the dealers don't want that besides i really must test drive something before i buy it .
I hear you. With a car like that getting the spec you want is huge and getting a test drive in a Z06 could deffinitely be challenging. What specs are you looking for?
Black in and out ,no aero package , 2 lz [3lz has dash glue issue] , no cup tires or wings for starters . I miss my NE where car dealers were everywhere and had cars on their lots . Its the location a new 3500 unit 55 and above gated community ,almost 30 houses on my street and no more than 3 cars all the rest are pickups and suvs .
I am 72 so it might be my last one or as long as i like it or want something shiny again
