So I use Brass Juice to clean my brass and it looks brand new but after about a month sitting in the case it starts turning greenish. Anybody have any suggestions? I read somebody a couple years ago said they put some type of wax wash and there to help clean it and it helps the tarnishing , my other buddy said just clean it before you need it. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Jimmy

I don't know what brass juice is made from but odds are you are using too much of it.

Before my brass would turn army green using lemi shine and dawn soap. I cut back the lemi shine to about a dime size pile in my palm and the problem went away. Haven't had a problem since.

I would recommend either reading the instructions or cutting back on the amount of the juice you add to your water.

I've used brass juice and my cases never turn green. They will turn a darker gold color after a week. Are you rinsing off the brass juice mix after tumbling? I empty and fill the tumbler with fresh water three or four times before I remove the brass. I'm guessing you have cleaner still on the brass that is reacting over time.

Do you have any other chemicals in the room or close by? Do you keep your brass sealed up before using it? Mine would use to tarnish all the time and turn different colors until I started to seal the brass into a close air container.

It’s hard to see the green on the one on the left through the picture but the one on the right I just cleaned and it looks great the one on the left has a greenish tint to it
