Hi all i dont post much on here as i tend jsut to read and and try to absorb what little information my brain will accept.
I have been reloading now for 19 years and still consider myself to be just an amature.
now to the point, i have recently started loading for a .300 winchester magnum that i have aquired/built-improved.

now to move on to the main the main point i want to open for discussion.
Brass and the varying weight not only from brand to brand but batch to batch.
This all started with me geting with the rifle a hundred weight sorted winchester branded brass.
the winchester brass was 251-252gr. a little bit i perchased 100 nosler custom brass and found that the weight for the 2 batches was not the same. One batch was 215 gr and one was 240gr. now that made me stop and think so i weighed some of the norma brass i have and it was 215gr now i have some reasonable loads i have worked up in the nosler 215gr brass i am looking at the problem of loads not being interchangable between the different brass i have.

winchester - 251gr
nosler - 240gr
nosler - 215gr
norma - 215gr

Has any one else encountered this problem and what is the thaughts on maybe including the brass weight on there reloads as this to me seems more critical then jsut including the brand.

Regards Sam.
