Brownells 308 short chambered barrel

Hey there,

First time post, long time lurker. I'm looking to rebarrel my 700p in 308 with a shot out barrel. Satern makes the barrel for Brownells, it's the M24E, 24" 5R 1-10" stainless with a threaded muzzle.

It is short chambered, looking at 4D for a finish reamer in their 308 Lapua match reamer to finish the chamber once I torque the barrel down.

Question is if anyone has any experience with this barrel. Plan would be to just put a thread protector on until I decide what I want for a brake. More than likely a little bastard 2 but that's to be determined with the HPA on the distant horizon.

Will be only hand loaded ammo shot through it. Thanks in advance.

Verify that it is threaded the same as your action. (may be threaded for action that has had the threads single point threaded)

Thanks, I sent an email to Satern to find out about that. Also just to see if it's a Brownells exclusive and what not since it's not even in their store online.

Correct, which is where I would order it from. But after searching Satern's online store, it it's not shown there so I'm assuming it is a Brownells exclusive.
