I have two rifles that are Browning A bolts that both shoot extremly well. I really love these rifles but the one major issue that I have always had with them is their mag system. I know the badger dbm systems are designed for a remington 700 style action but do you guys think a badger M4 of M5 could possibly work?

Re: Browning A Bolt dbm Question

A-bolt action screws are arount 7 7/8" apart, even a LA Rem 700 is only around 7 3/8".... Howa LA is around 7 3/4" and Ruger 77 SA is also around 7 3/4, w/ the Ruger 77 Mk II around 7 5/8".... these are you closest bets....

except the Mauser 98, it's 7 7/8" also, but nobody makes a DBM for it either.
