Gunsmithing browning A-bolt trigger adjustment

Looseded the nut but the trigger adjustment screw won't turn. Is there lock tight on it? should I heat it and try again?

So I'm shocked to learn that no one on the hide knows if Browning used lock tight on the A bolt trigger adjustment screw.

I've got a A-bolt II stainless stalker and mine adjusted just fine, didn't seem like it had loctite. Why don't you just try heating it up and see what happens. I'm more shocked you didn't try to heat it up by now.

Buy yourself a Moyers trigger. They are fully adjustable and replace the junk springs Browning puts into their rifles. Brownells sells them and they're a snap to install.
