Nathan at Straight Shot gunsmithing thinks they are as good as anything else out there. He has a real big following with the long range hunters. I have one going onto my build and have no concerns about them. The two week turnaround time is very nice and the skip fluting they use is unique.

i have one on one of my .223 AI rifles. it is a great barrel. i'd happily buy more of them. in fact, maybe i'll get one for my lightweight M7 .223AI project.
anyway, i have Lilja, Hart, Broughton, and the Brux is as good an any IMO

I have chambered about 20+ brux barrels in the last 12 months. Some are my personal guns and others are customers. A few of the customers guns have had load work done before shipping. They break in fast clean up easy and are very accurate.
My latest 260 rem in a #7 24" long took 2 shoot and cleans for break-in, then shot the next 5 into .315 inches off a bipod and rear bag. virtually no copper in the barrel. Cleaned it and shot 12 more, 2 patches down the bore and not a blue streak,I could hardly believe it. A quick bore scope showed a clean bore, with no copper fouling. I think I got a keeper. My .223 PD gun has shot over 150 rounds between cleanings and will still hold sub 1/2 moa groups for 5 shots. I have pics of groups from brux barrels on the Gallery page. centershotrifles.com

I have had 2 Brux barrels installed and am extremely happy with them. I regularly shoot 5 shot groups at 100 yards that are under 0.33" measured center-to-center with my 6.5 x 47 Lapua.
The lead time from Brux is great, as they get more exposure it is creeping to 4-5 weeks, a year ago it was about a week.

Great barrels from Brux, you will not be disappointed. I've several Brux, all are shooters, clean up quick, and leave nothing to be desired. If you ever talk to Ken or Norm at Brux you'll find out they are great guys to boot!

Based on the Brux Thread above, the experience that a hunting friend has with his in 308 and the general consensus on here I'd see no reason why you shouldn't try it.
It's not out of range for the prices one might expect to pay, I'm currently working on a new action design for myself (engineer's disease) and I'm going to order the Brux in 6.5mm for a 6.5-06 when I have the action finished.
