Budget upgrade - Used stock prices

Id like to start a little project, upgrading my Tikka T3 into a dream rifle. Im gona try NOT to let my tight budget stop me having some fun.

Second hand parts are ok, as long as they are in good shape.

One thing Id like to ask you guys. Im really interested in the Manners MCS-T4 stock. Anyone know if they are good, and how much should be ok to pay for them second hand?

Generally from what I've seen on the Hide, things sell for around 80% of Retail. A new Manners T4 will run you in the vicinity of $430 so i would consider around $350 reasonable (In good condition).

You will find thread after thread on this site explaining just how outstanding all Manners stocks are.

There is no doubt in my mind that they are the best stocks on the market.

I would try to get your hands on one before ordering. They make multiple models each a bit different and geared towards the individuals need/wants.

From what I understand they make the MCS-T4 stock specially for the Tikka T3.....

Other than the Manners stock, what are you planning on doing to make this your "dream" rifle??

Thread the barrell for a suppressor, next modify the trigger either by gunsmith or Jarinc trigger system. Id like to get the Ase Utra suppressor. Working on that......
Sako Optilok bases+rings I already got and a Trijicon scope that makes a really nice combo.

.........but next step is finding the right stock for the upgrade

Where are you located? Good choice on the suppressor but that makes me think you're not in the US. That might change things as far as what to get.

Minnesota. They make em in Finland. But a guy I know has one and might be able to import them......if the paperwork allows

a xlr stock would also be a good choice is is more money than they manners but if you plan on using detachable mags this would be the better way to go imo

I was looking at getting one last time I was in Finland but I would had to leave to my brother since it's practically impossible to get them over here. If he can do it, I'd be interested in S5.

you'll be good with a manners, but like was said earlier, get your hands on a few first. then you'll know exactly what you want.
