I was just wondering if a bugnut system would be a good thing for a switchbarrel Bighorn TL3? And I believe that the bugnut uses 2 sizes of barrel, 1.2 and 1.25" if I remember correctly. Which one would I need? I prefer a Proof CF sendero.

I think the bugnut requires that you remove the scope rail from the TL-3 in order to change barrels.... just food for thought.

I'm glad that you pointed this out. I'll check on this when I get home. I'm fairly unfamiliar with the bugnut system, but I know that it isn't as "ugly" as the savage type barrel nut that I had originally planned on. Also, do you happen to know which barrel shank size that the TL3 takes?

There are a few outfits here that will make you a regular shouldering barrel that will drop in, no need for a nut. The thread on rhe tl3 is 1-1/16x20.
