Building roof barricades for PRS

So I have built barricades and am going to incorporate a roof platform between two of the barricades. I should be able to adjust the angle easily.

So my question is, is there a standard on the angle? Is there a range of "legal" angles?

It would not be hard to make the roof go from each range of angles with a couple inbetween.

Stevo - from a building perspective roofs can be from zero (flat) up to a 14/12 pitch (50deg). A standard roof pitch for a house would be 4/12 (19deg), 6/12 (26Deg) and 8/12 (34 Deg). An 8/12 is steep enough is can be difficult to stand on. you cannot stand on a 10/12 (40Deg)

If I were building one I would make it get to 3/12 for flat learning and up to 10/12 for expert level. My guess is you'll likely keep it around the 6/12 or 8/12 slope.

Just so we are clear, 8/12 means 8 inches vertical and 12 inches horizontal on a triangle.

Thanks Jack. I ended up making it adjustable from around 7/12 to almost flat. That was a few weeks ago so sorry I don't remember. I looked up degrees to pitch and can't remember what I decided to do. I can easily change it steeper if I need to.

I basically used the 6.5 guys old design, but half lapped all the joints and glued. Used a pipe to go through the roof in a couple places and then through the two barricades and pinned it. The different shapes cut in the plywood can easily be removed or moved to another spot and a new shape added.
