If you have a Savage, you buy a prefit and install it yourself. If you have any other brand you need to contact a gunsmith and see what the wait time is going to be. Whatever gunsmith you choose for the install can provide the barrel blank as well, unless you manage to snag one to send to him.
whoops. the things you miss on a flip phone... krieger, noveske, dpms, and fulton armory make or have made 6.5 creedmoor barrels for the ar-10 platform. im sure there are others too.
